Honest God Truth

“I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭20‬ ‭ How do you live by faith in the Son of God?  Trusting in what Jesus has done and obeying what he commanded. Jesus lived a perfect life keeping all the commandments of God. He died a death that we deserved and defeated death by rising to life again.  Our faith in his actions and words allow us to live glorifying him now and forever.  Those who believe in him will never die.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “yet we know that a person is not justified by works of the law but through faith in Jesus Christ, so we also have believed in Christ Jesus, in order to be justified by faith in Christ and not by works of the law, because by works of the law no one will be justified.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭16‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We are saved by faith in the perfect life of Jesus, the sacrificial death of Jesus and the resurrection of the body of Jesus.  When we believe these truths we born again and are saved from the wrath of God against our sins.  We are made just in God's court because we believe that God chose to give to Jesus the penalty of our sins on the cross and we are no longer guilty and have to pay for our sins.  We receive freedom because Jesus paid it for us.  What a wonderful God we have to pay for our sins.  Praise you Lord God.  Amen

 “Steadfast love and faithfulness meet; righteousness and peace kiss each other.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭85‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Love produces faith whereas righteousness produces peace. When we choose to honor the Lord Jesus we must love him and know that he is faithful to obey his commands and live in peace with him and mankind.  Lord help us to love and obey you today.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “But as for me, my prayer is to you, O Lord. At an acceptable time, O God, in the abundance of your steadfast love answer me in your saving faithfulness.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭69‬:‭13‬ ‭ESV‬‬ At an acceptable time in the abundance of your steadfast love answer my prayer.  This is a person who has faith in God.  He knows that God know, God is able, and God cares for him.  With faith all things are possible.  Lord help us to trust you with all our hearts and thereby glorify you.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “(for he who worked through Peter for his apostolic ministry to the circumcised worked also through me for mine to the Gentiles),” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭2‬:‭8‬ ‭ESV‬‬ The Holy Spirit works in the spirit of all believers.  We are a part of Jesus body where he is the head.  We should always submit to the Lord and work in unity with the rest of the body.  When we do God is glorified and the entire body has joy!  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “For his anger is but for a moment, and his favor is for a lifetime. Weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes with the morning.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭30‬:‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ When our heart and mind realize all things come from God our sovereign Lord we can sing for joy.  We may mourn for we live in a sinful world where there is suffering and evil.  But then when a new morning comes we can take comfort to know that God is a merciful and loving God who sent his Son to save us.  Lord Jesus we hope and trust in your love.  Amen

 “Oh, guard my soul, and deliver me! Let me not be put to shame, for I take refuge in you.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭25‬:‭20‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We should be concern with the state of our soul.  Sin kills and hinders our relationship with the Lord and his people.  We must stay close to the Lord and his word so we can be washed by his blood.  Lord Jesus help us to walk in the path that glorifies you and forgive us when we fall away.  For you are our refuge and our God that we must cline to everyday.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “Blessed is the one whose transgression is forgiven, whose sin is covered. Blessed is the man against whom the Lord counts no iniquity, and in whose spirit there is no deceit. Be glad in the Lord, and rejoice, O righteous, and shout for joy, all you upright in heart!” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭32‬:‭1‬-‭2‬, ‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ David knew that he had to confess his sins to the Lord.  For if he didn't his sin would destroy him.  David also knew that salvation is from the Lord only he could give him a clean spirit.  He did not know that  Jesus died for our sins but he knew the Lord would do it.  The result of his trust in God produced joy in his heart to praise and worship the Lord God.  Jesus help us to confess our sins to you so we may be righteous in God's sight.  Amen

 “They only were hearing it said, “He who used to persecute us is now preaching the faith he once tried to destroy.”” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭23‬ ‭ESV‬‬ To be born again means to go from darkness to light from death to life, from the kingdom of evil to the kingdom of God.  This change can only occur by the grace of the Lord Jesus.  Jesus did everything we need to come to him and be saved. We honor him by praising him and giving him all the glory as we walk in his light.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen 

 “Of old you laid the foundation of the earth, and the heavens are the work of your hands. They will perish, but you will remain; they will all wear out like a garment. You will change them like a robe, and they will pass away, but you are the same, and your years have no end.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭102‬:‭25‬-‭27‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We must ask ourselves do we believe in the Lord God?  Do you know the invisible God who made heaven and earth?  Do you love the God who sent his son to be the savior?  If you do believe you have received the gift of faith and this gift is so amazing that it gives you the joy of the Lord in your heart.  Rejoice that you have been chosen to believe, love and obey the Lord Jesus Christ and live forever with him.  Amen

 “For am I now seeking the approval of man, or of God? Or am I trying to please man? If I were still trying to please man, I would not be a servant of Christ.” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭10‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Who or what you desire becomes your master and you its slave.  Anything that you put ahead of God is foolish and comes from evil for it is a lie.  Any pleasure, joy, comfort, success, security or confidence that does not get its source and foundation from the light of the world, which is Jesus, is a lie, fake, and is being used by Satan to deceive you.  We must realize all our desires are found and come from the Lord Jesus for he has made and keeps all things.  Therefore, we must desire more of Jesus and his love and all the other things will come from him in his perfect time. Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 ““See the man who would not make God his refuge, but trusted in the abundance of his riches and sought refuge in his own destruction!”” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭52‬:‭7‬ ‭ESV‬‬ God is our refuge a very present help in time of trouble.  If we choose not to turn to the Lord for help and instead trust in our own resources those items will be our destruction.  Our own strength will falter if it does not lean on the grace of God.  Only Jesus can save us from sin and the evil of this present day.  Lord God help us to trust, love and obey your promises for us.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “Send out your light and your truth; let them lead me; let them bring me to your holy hill and to your dwelling!” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭43‬:‭3‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We have been given the light of the gospel of Jesus Christ that saves us and leads us into the path of righteousness.  We who love the Lord rejoice in following the light of the world.  Praise you Jesus. Amen

 “who gave himself for our sins to deliver us from the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,” ‭‭Galatians‬ ‭1‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Satan is in control of all non believing sinners because they are dead in their sins.  Our nature is separated from God because God hates sin and sin must be destroyed because it pollutes holiness.  Therefore, by faith we trust in the gospel of Jesus to wash our souls from all sin and become born again into the kingdom of God where we can now come into God's presence by the blood of Jesus.  What a great salvation we have in Jesus Christ our Lord.  Amen

 “(for the fruit of light is found in all that is good and right and true), and try to discern what is pleasing to the Lord. Take no part in the unfruitful works of darkness, but instead expose them.” ‭‭Ephesians‬ ‭5‬:‭9‬-‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ If you walk with Jesus his light will produce fruit of righteousness.  The longer we walk with God the more discerning we will become recognized good from evil. Lord help us to walk daily in your love so we can expose sin in our lives and others.  All for your glory Jesus.  Amen

 “Give thanks to the God of heaven, for his steadfast love endures forever.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭136‬:‭26‬ ‭ESV‬‬ God's steadfast love endures forever.  In all things and in all time God's love for his people will never end.  Though we go through trials of every kind Jesus is always with us and is able to give us joy and peace in our soul where no peace or joy is presently found.  In his presence is fullness of joy.  Lord Jesus open our eyes and heart to your presence in our life and let us realize that your steadfast love endures forever.  Amen

 “Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name!” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭100‬:‭3‬-‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We are blessed who know that Jesus (LORD) is God.  The one who created all things is our Savior and King.  We are a part of his family and we will be with him forever.  These truths allow us to live with joy not fear, for our eternity is certain and our hope in him unbreakable.  We can give him praise for his love for us is everlasting.  Praise you Jesus forever.  Amen

 “because, if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭ESV‬‬ What comes out of your mouth is what is in your heart.  If your heart is righteous then you will speak the truth.  Jesus is the truth and if your heart believes that Jesus is Lord, praise for him will come out of your mouth.  Let us praise and honor the Lord Jesus today and forever.  Amen

 “The God of our fathers raised Jesus, whom you killed by hanging him on a tree. God exalted him at his right hand as Leader and Savior, to give repentance to Israel and forgiveness of sins. And we are witnesses to these things, and so is the Holy Spirit, whom God has given to those who obey him.”” ‭‭Acts‬ ‭5‬:‭30‬-‭32‬ ‭ESV‬‬ God's plan of salvation occurred through the life death, burial and resurrection of Jesus the Christ.  Everyone who believe in his work of redemption on the cross and obeys his commands will receive the Holy Spirit as a seal of sonship with God.  What a wonderful, gracious gift we have in Jesus.  Lord help us to grow in our faith and obedience in you through the Holy Spirit.  Amen

 “And I will put my Spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes and be careful to obey my rules.” ‭‭Ezekiel‬ ‭36‬:‭27‬ ‭ESV‬‬ The Holy Spirit will not come into our hearts until we are cleaned from our sinfulness.  This occurs when you believe in Jesus as your Lord and Savior.  Jesus had to die for our sins for us to be a child of God.  How wonderful it is to receive the Holy Spirit so we will never be alone and can obtain the peace and joy of God always. Lord help me to trust your love and peace more each day.  Amen

 “and are justified by his grace as a gift, through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus,” ‭‭Romans‬ ‭3‬:‭24‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We were a slave to sin and the devil.  There was no way for us to be righteous enough to enter heaven and be with God since God is perfectly righteous without sin.  Therefore we had to be bought out of slavery to begin the process of sanctification which leads to glorification in heaven.  The price of our redemption was the blood of Jesus dying for our sins.  This free gift to all who believe in him is what has saved us.  Oh how wonderful is our Lord and redeemer.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 ““Does our law judge a man without first giving him a hearing and learning what he does?”” ‭‭John‬ ‭7‬:‭51‬ ‭ESV‬‬ It is easy to judge a person by preconceived prejudice beliefs. We must always listen to people and give them the opportunity to hear the good news of the gospel.  Our purpose is not to judge but to share the good news of Jesus love to everyone. Lord forgive us of sinfully judging others instead of loving them.  Amen

 “And he said, “This is why I told you that no one can come to me unless it is granted him by the Father.”” ‭‭John‬ ‭6‬:‭65‬ ‭ESV‬‬ The mystery of faith.  It takes God's approval, Jesus work on the cross, and the Holy Spirit filling our heart to believe.  Then when all this has happened we must choose to believe.   Lord thank you for being my savior and the plan of salvation in my life.  Praise you Father, Son and Holy Spirit.  Amen

 “And now I have told you before it takes place, so that when it does take place you may believe.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭29‬ ‭ESV‬‬ The Bible is full of prophecy so that we may believe what it says.  Jesus told of future evens that happened and have not yet occurred.  We can trust the Bible and know that what it says is true.  The Holy Spirit enabled the writers to give us the truth about Jesus. We must trust and obey him for he died for our salvation.  Jesus open our eyes and heart to your truth so we may glorify your name today.  Amen 

 “Now is the judgment of this world; now will the ruler of this world be cast out.” ‭‭John‬ ‭12‬:‭31‬ ‭ESV‬‬ Satan since the fall had control over the souls of mankind.  When Jesus died on the cross to pay for our sins a new mankind was forming that was no more a slave to Satan because of our sins.  Jesus paid for our sins and made us free to love and serve him.  Jesus is making a new kingdom of new people that are sons of God.  They are those who are born again and are in the process of glorification through the Holy Spirit.  Those who are a part of the family of God rejoice and worship their savior God Jesus Christ.  Praise you Lord.  Amen

 “But Jesus remained silent. And the high priest said to him, “I adjure you by the living God, tell us if you are the Christ, the Son of God.”” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭26‬:‭63‬ ‭ESV‬‬ The high priest asked very strongly and used the words living God for Jesus to tell them if he was the Christ.  First Jesus is God and it's ironic that the priest was telling Jesus to do something on the strength of himself! Second he was telling them and showing them his claim of Sonship everyday.  The truth is they could not see him and would not see him for who he truly is because, it takes the Holy Spirit to believe on the Lord Jesus and be saved.  Why do we seek the Lord?  Is it because we want something he can offer us or because we know him and want to praise him and be with him forever.  We need to check our hearts desire and determine if we truly do love and enjoy praising him.  Lord help us to be honest with ourselves because you know our hearts even better than we do. ...

“May all who seek you rejoice and be glad in you! May those who love your salvation say evermore, “God is great!”” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭70‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We can't seek someone we do not know.  If we don't know the love of Jesus we won't ask for his help.  If we ask and we don't believe he hears us then we won't praise him for his salvation.  Then we can't say God is great if we don't believe in him.  Lord Jesus help us to know you better each day so we may praise you for your great love and mercy.  Amen

 “Oh, grant us help against the foe, for vain is the salvation of man!” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭60‬:‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We can't get help from humans to save our soul. Only by the blood of Jesus is there salvation from our sins.  Try as we might to free ourselves and others from the stain of sin, only the Lord Jesus is savior for all mankind.  Lord help me share your good news of your gospel to all I meet.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭31‬:‭24‬ ‭ESV‬‬ If we wait for the Lord Jesus to come and make all things right then we should be strong and take courage knowing that he is working and will always work for our salvation. Our strength comes from the Lord and our courage is knowing that he is with us always fulfilling his plan for our glory in him.  Trust in the Lord and know he loves us forever.  Amen

“But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭13‬:‭5‬ ‭ESV‬‬ David wrote this when things were going bad because his faith was in the Lord and he knew the Lord would save him.  True faith believes in the Lord even during difficult times not only when things are going well.  Lord help me to trust in you always.  Amen

 “Truly, I say to you, among those born of women there has arisen no one greater than John the Baptist. Yet the one who is least in the kingdom of heaven is greater than he.” ‭‭Matthew‬ ‭11‬:‭11‬ ‭ESV‬‬ This is a remarkable statement that Jesus says. First John the Baptist is the greatest human that ever existed without being born again by believing in Jesus and becoming a son of God.  Without the Holy Spirit we are all born in sin and deserving of hell.  Even John who was the greatest still needed Jesus to save him.  What a privilege to know our sins our forgiven and we will live forever in the presence of the Lord. Praise you Jesus.  Amen

 “Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land. For I will not leave you until I have done what I have promised you.”” ‭‭Genesis‬ ‭28‬:‭15‬ ‭ESV‬‬ We who have been chosen and believe in Jesus God will never leave or forsake.  May we live our life glorifying the Lord Jesus in all ways because we know the everlasting love of God.  Praise you Lord Jesus.  Amen

 “Even before a word is on my tongue, behold, O Lord, you know it altogether.” ‭‭Psalm‬ ‭139‬:‭4‬ ‭ESV‬‬ God knows the words that will come out of your mouth before you say them.  This means he knows your thoughts.  How wonderful this is to know God knows all things.  Jesus please wash my heart so I may desire and praise and worship you today.  May your will be a blessing to me and all those who I interact with today.  Praise you Jesus.  Amen
