Wealth doesn’t last

 Sept 14, 2021

“and who knows whether he will be wise or a fool? Yet he will be master of all for which I toiled and used my wisdom under the sun. This also is vanity.”

‭‭Ecclesiastes‬ ‭2:19‬ ‭ESV‬‬

Many people spend such a large part of their life accumulating wealth.  They believe it will protect them and give them what they desire and need.  They also plan on how their wealth will be shared with others when they die.  If Solomon says this is all vanity then what should we spend our time doing?  Teaching and modeling faith in God.  Trust and belief in God’s promises is what is lasting not wealth.  Lord help us to spend our time working on what lasts forever, trusting in Jesus promises.  Amen
