God’s dwelling place

 Ephesians 2:19-22

“So then your are no longer strangers and aliens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of the household of God, built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Christ Jesus himself being the cornerstone, in whom the whole structure, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord. In him you also are being built together into a dwelling place for God by the Spirit.”

God desires to dwell with his chosen people.  Israel had the privilege to have God be with them in the tabernacle. Moses and later the priests would go into the temple and represent the people toward God. Now by Jesus death and resurrection we who believe have received the Holy Spirit who lives in us.  God made us his dwelling place. This is truly amazing and as we gather together we are collectively His church.  Jesus help us to work out what we have in us, your love to others.  Amen
