Save me Jesus

Isaiah 58:13-14 “If you turn back your foot from the Sabbath, from doing your pleasurec on my holy day, and call the Sabbath a delight and the holy day of the LORD honorable; if you honor it, not going your own ways, or seeking your own pleasure,d or talking idly; 14then you shall take delight in the LORD, and I will make you ride on the heights of the earth; I will feed you with the heritage of Jacob your father, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken.”

God desires us to put our trust in him not ourselves or anyone or anything else.  All his commandments can be summed up in ‘put your trust in me’. The Sabbath and fasting both teach us to look to God for pleasure, peace and  paradise. The idea is so simple but impossible to preform without a new heart, renewed heart, humble heart. If you see yourself going the wrong direction through the wide path that leads away from Jesus, stop and cry out for help!  Lord Jesus save me from myself.  He loves that prayer because it says one thing, I cannot do it.  Jesus save me today please, for your glory.  Amen
