God is faithful when we are not!

1 Samuel 10:9-13 “9When he turned his back to leave Samuel, God gave him another heart. And all these signs came to pass that day. 10When they came to Gibeah,d behold, a group of prophets met him, and the Spirit of God rushed upon him, and he prophesied among them. 11And when all who knew him previously saw how he prophesied with the prophets, the people said to one another, “What has come over the son of Kish? Is Saul also among the prophets?” 12And a man of the place answered, “And who is their father?” Therefore it became a proverb, “Is Saul also among the prophets?” 13When he had finished prophesying, he came to the high place.“

Saul was anointed King by Samuel and Israel had a king like other nations. God did not like any of it because the people  were rejecting him.  Yet the Lord was working out all the details.  God picked Saul, God have him a new heart, God sent his Spirit on Sail to prophecy with other prophets, and when they cast lots to choose a king before the people Saul was chosen. So even though the Lord was angry with Israel’s rejection, he stayed faithful to his covenant with his people. Lord Jesus thank you for your faithfulness to us when we are not faithful to you.  Help us to repent when we sin and turn to you and glorify your name in trusting and loving you.  For your glory Jesus.  Amen
