Trust when you don’t understand
Isaiah 55:6-9 “Seek the LORD while he may be found; call upon him while he is near; 7let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon. 8For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, declares the LORD. 9For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways and my thoughts than your thoughts.”
In our times of difficulty don’t turn away from God because you don’t like what is happening! These are the times when he is most needed and available for your rescue. Maybe your sins have made you feel the Lord is distanct or He is disciplining you and calling you to more faith. When you are in these times of difficulty and doubt turn and seek the Lord. He is compassionate and willing to forgive. He is the only place to got even when it seems hopeless or illogical to trust him. It is our most needed passion to trust him not to understand him. When the water needs to be divided or walked on, Jesus can do it! We are called to have faith in the Lord at all times, especially when it doesn’t seem possible. This is where God receives even more glory. Trust and obey for their is no other way to be happy in Jesus but to trust and obey. Amen
