Stand in awe of Jesus

Isaiah 29:22-24 “Therefore  thus says the LORD, who redeemed Abraham, concerning the house of Jacob: “Jacob shall no more be ashamed, no more shall his face grow pale.
23For when he sees his children, the work of my hands, in his midst, they will sanctify my name; they will sanctify the Holy One of Jacob
and will stand in awe of the God of Israel. 24And those who go astray in spirit will come to understanding, and those who murmur will accept instruction.”

Isaiah’s mission was to open the eyes of Israel to the workings of God in their daily life. So often they were blind to God’s working and did not understand what he was doing.  The Lord is glorious and when our eyes, ears, and hearts our open to see him two wonderful things happen; first he receives glory by us being in awe of his great work and two our hearts receive tremendous joy that grows without limitations. We were made to find pleasure in Jesus.  Let Isaiah encourage us to see the Lord working in us and the world for his good purpose and our great joy.  Stand in awe today and thank Creator Jesus for his love for us. Amen
