Remember God’s faithfulness

Isaiah 46:8-11 “Remember this and stand firm,
recall it to mind, you transgressors, 9remember the former things of old; for I am God, and there is no other; I am God, and there is none like me, 10declaring the end from the beginning
and from ancient times things not yet done,
saying, ‘My counsel shall stand, and I will accomplish all my purpose,’ 11calling a bird of prey from the east, the man of my counsel from a far country. I have spoken, and I will bring it to pass; I have purposed, and I will do it.”

God knows we have a difficult time remembering God’s blessings to us. When times are going poorly we don’t like it or understand it! But Isaiah reminds us that God determines the end from the beginning and nothing can change his will. We trust in so many things that are here today and gone tomorrow yet we struggle with trusting the one who is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. All the truths and promises in the Bible are sure and trustworthy, let us read them and believe them. Thank you Lord Jesus, the Word of God, who loves us and redeemed us for his glory and our joy. Rejoice in the Lord always and again I say rejoice.  Amen
