For God’s sake

Isaiah 43:1,7,25 “1But now thus says the LORD, he who created you, O Jacob, he who formed you, O Israel: “Fear not, for I have redeemed you;I have called you by name, you are mine.

7everyone who is called by my name, whom I created for my glory, whom I formed and made.”

25“I, I am he who blots out your transgressions for my own sake, and I will not remember your sins.”

Isaiah’s view of God is remarkable because he gives him all the credit for everything thing.  The Lord Jesus is creator of everything and that means you. He made us, we sinned and he bought us back or redeemed us. He does not redeem groups of people he redeems individuals like you. Why does he do this remarkable thing?  For his glory and for his sake. God works to show his glory and we who have been chosen and redeemed were made to reflect his glory for God’s sake. When we understand and believe that the Lord of the universe loves us so much to die on the cross for us it truly is amazing!  All of this for his glory!  We experience great joy and praise and worship him forever.  Thank you Jesus
