Praise God in all situations
“But I have trusted in your steadfast love; my heart shall rejoice in your salvation. I will sing to the Lord, because he has dealt bountifully with me.”
Psalm 13:5-6 ESV
David in this psalm begins with why God won’t you answer my prayers and get me out of this terrible situation. Then he finishes it with the word “but”. He starts to praise the Lord and sing of his steadfast love to him. David didn’t wait until his circumstance changed to praise the Lord he praised the Lord during his suffering. David knew that the Lord loved him and was in control. The correct response to every situation is praise to God and trust in his grace he gives us each day. Jesus help us to trust and praise you today. Amen
